Harry Potter and Programming

June 30, 2010

Here’s my understanding about magic world. Wizards/witches are some of the lucky ones who have higher accessibility to our world than us. Besides what we see every day and what we do every day, they can actually access the stuff behind it.

For example, spells are like user-defined functions written by previous great wizards/witches. They programmed the I/O and stored them as pieces of spells.

Another example, telepathy is something like the 3G network while it has broader bandwidth and stronger signals. Not to mention it is encrypted better.

Maybe wizards/witches were bugs from the program running our world.

Actually, muggles also unlocked many hidden functions of our world. They are scientists!
